The thought at Nizona Marine Products(NMP) has always been to bring awareness about the value of scales, skin and other fish and marine parts, usually discarded. NMP desires to engage more and more fish traders and sellers and encourage them to optimise and understand that every part of fish and many other marine beings can bring more value.
What does NMP do?
NMP supplies large quantity of dried fish scales every month as raw material to major collagen peptide producers globally and also specializes in production of Ossein and Collagen peptide due to it’s ability to source collagen raw materials abundantly.

NMP creates ‘Best out of Waste’ by up-cycling tons of fish scales and skin, which otherwise were a concern for fish processing industries. Collagen peptide derived from scales and skin of fish has better bioavailability. Marine collagen doesn’t pose any health scares like bird flu, foot and mouth disease.
Socio-Economic Cause
Fishermen who cultivate Rohu, Katla and Carp fish in fresh water usually sell the fish but discard the scales haphazardly, thus causing smelly litter as they are not aware of the potential of ‘up-cycling’ this waste!- NMP has assured business generation for the fishermen community in India and today it works in tandem with governmental aquaculture organizations.
